NLP Modeling & Self Esteem

Official Definitions:

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an approach used to program brain behavior using language and other types of communication methods.  The goal is to  "recode" the brain’s responses (refocus the thoughts), to create new and improved behaviors.

"NLP Modeling" is a style of teaching & learning that occurs by observing, retaining, and replicating patterns of language and behavior.

What Dr. Simone does & how:

In simpler terms, when used by Dr. Simone, NLP involves using, demonstrating, and "modeling" language and behavior patterns to help kids, teens & families to

reprogram their beliefs about themselves. This allows them to improve their mindset, shift their attitude, boost their self-esteem and help them project greater confidence.

There are three main areas of focus that Dr. Simone uses to achieve consistent, positive results:

The Mind:

Using a more traditional NLP coaching approach, thoughts, visualizations, affirmations, lots of humor and hands-on-demonstrations are used to activate all 5 senses in the self-esteem building process. Visit The Online Academy (here) for endless NLP Inspired Resources.

The Spirit:

As an Honorary Doctor of Divinity and student of Metaphysical Science, Simone is always incorporating a spiritual element. This component is not based in religion, but based on Universal Laws and measurable energies in the body that acknowledge that something greater than us exists within "the self" to help us realize our full potential. This element is highlighted in Dr. Simone's Journals (here) and Cards (here).

The Body:

Dr. Simone's most unique technique recognizes the psycho-physical relationship by incorporating the use of the body in self-esteem building.  Calling on her experience as a fashion model, Dr. Simone incorporates tools from "Runway Modeling" blended with "NLP Modeling" and other holistic coaching practices to add a fun, powerful twist to her self-esteem coaching style, as seen (here) in her NLP: Modeling Confidence Class.
