- How the Kendrick and The Eagles are Lighting the Way for Us
The Super Bowl Mindset: More Than Just a Game I’m not a huge sports fan, but everyone knows that the Super Bowl is more than just a game—it’s the ultimate test of preparation, resilience, and peak performance under pressure. It’s a stage where the best of the best must rise to the occasion, proving that elite success isn’t just about talent—it’s about mindset. But did you know that the same mental strategies that fuel Super Bowl champions can be used to elevate our own confidence, self-esteem, and ability to thrive under pressure? I actually watched the Super Bowl with friends this year. For the entire first half, when the Philadelphia Eagles had scored all the points and Kansas City had none, a friend of mine—who knows my work—kept turning to me and saying, 'The Eagles have the mindset. I guess the Eagles have the mindset.' In that moment, the game itself became a live demonstration of how mindset manifests into reality - right there on the field, we could measure it. We can do the same in our lives too! A Televised Revolution: Kendrick Lamar Honoring Black History Month His Way! This year’s Super Bowl was more than just a championship game—it was a cultural moment. Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance, now being called “the televised revolution,” was a display of using artistic expression to have a voice in major political and social matters. While many disagree with his approach, even more seem to support presence on that stage as a reminder that our voices matter, our stories deserve to be told, and our history continues to be written in a variety of ways - expected and unexpected. This same spirit of using our voice and standing in our power was reflected on the field as well. The Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback, Jalen Hurts, a Black leader at the helm of a powerhouse team, demonstrated grace, strength, and strategic execution—showing millions of viewers that representation matters. It is not just about being seen; it is about leading, inspiring, and breaking barriers. As we also discussed in this article about Beyonce at the Grammy's. The Super Bowl reminded us that Black history is not just something to remember—it is something to actively create. And while these historic moments are happening on global stages, we each have a role to play in our own lives to push forward, achieve greatness, and step into our own revolutionary success stories. And no matter what race, religion or gender we are, it should be done in a way that unites us and moves society forward - in love! Hidden Lessons: How Kendrick and The Eagles are Lighting the Way for Us... While most of us won’t be stepping onto the NFL’s biggest stage, we all have high-stakes moments—career-defining meetings, performances, or personal challenges that require us to show up as our best selves. Here’s what we can learn from the Eagles' mindset and how to apply it in our own lives: Train Your Mind Like an Athlete Trains – Just as athletes don’t wait until game day to build their strength, neither should you. Don't wait for hard times to test out your mental strength. We must develop mental resilience before we face challenges. Daily mental conditioning—like affirmations, elevating emotions, heart-centered gratitude —ensures we are mentally strong when we actually need to be. Reprogram Your Inner Self for Success – Top athletes and performers don’t rely on luck; they train their minds to believe in their greatness. Similarly, we can rewire our own self-perception by shifting negative self-talk, practicing visualization, and reinforcing empowering beliefs—setting a new baseline belief in our ability and worth. For Black culture, this means undoing generations of conditioning that have attempted to limit our potential and stepping into our inherent power. Again, each approach will be different, but if we lead with love - I believe all will be well. Use Visualization to Strengthen Your Confidence – Super Bowl players mentally rehearse success before stepping onto the field. This is a scientifically backed strategy that anyone can use, not just in sports but in all areas of life where we want to excel. By visualizing ourselves being successful, our brain starts to create the neural pathways that make success feel way more natural and 100% attainable. For those pushing forward to create generational change, whether in black and brown communities or beyond,, visualization can be a crucial tool for seeing further than today’s limitations and manifesting tomorrow’s breakthroughs. Master the Art of Pressure Performance – The greatest athletes don’t let pressure break them—they let it fuel them. By learning unique tools like, chunking up, emotional freedom technique, and connecting to the field of potentiality, we can train both our body and mind to thrive in high-stakes situations. The revolution doesn’t just happen in big performances—it happens in boardrooms, classrooms, businesses, and communities where we show up and excel every day. The Eagles' performance in the first half showcased these principles in action, as did Kendrick Lamar's statement making performance. They showed with certainty, confidence, and focus—demonstrating how a strong mindset translates into real, tangible results. This is just one way that people like Kendrick and teams like The Eagles are Lighting the Way for us. The Star Treatment: In metaphysics, a "treatment" is a set of healing words spoken to activate Divine Power. These "Healing Words" are for you Philadelphia Eagles. Prayer Treatment: May you continue to rise to every challenge with unwavering self-belief. May your mind be as strong as your spirit, and may you step into every high-pressure moment knowing you are prepared, powerful, and limitless. You are designed for greatness. May every step and every word be coated in love and harmony - with the ultimate outcome of unifying ALL of mankind. Coaching Treatment (for readers) : To develop the Super Bowl Mindset in your own life, whether in the field like the athletes or on stage like Kendrick, remember that revolutionary success requires revolutionary preparation. Build mental habits that reinforce your confidence daily. Train your sense of worth like a muscle—through repetition, resilience, and realignment with your highest potential. Your ability to thrive under pressure is not luck, it's a skill you are able to develop. Start by deciding what you truly do desire. See the mental image of it in your mind. Enjoy it and let the excitement build inside your heart and body - it should feel so real to you as you do this. The process helps to rewire your body and mind to believe that you have already had this experience - therefore, building your confidence in your ability to have this experience again - but in your physical reality this time. - How the Academy Awards are Lighting the Way for Us
Celebrating Ourselves: A Reminder From The Academy Awards The Academy Awards, Hollywood’s grandest celebration, honor the best in film. Yet behind the glitz and golden statues, even the most successful stars often reveal their struggles with self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and public scrutiny. How is it that the very people we celebrate for their talent and achievements can feel like they aren’t enough? There’s a powerful lesson here—not just for actors but for all of us. True self-appreciation isn’t found in external validation—it’s cultivated from within. And while the Oscars recognize cinematic excellence, we all deserve to recognize our own brilliance, no red carpet required. So, what can we learn from Hollywood’s biggest night about self-esteem, self-recognition, and inner worth? ...These are the ways the Academy Awards are Lighting the Way for us: Hidden Lessons: How the Academy Awards are Lighting the Way for Us... Success doesn’t erase self-doubt—inner work does. Many actors speak candidly about imposter syndrome, the feeling that they aren’t as talented as people think. Winning an Oscar doesn’t silence that voice. Why? Because self-worth isn’t built on external validation—it’s cultivated from within. If world-renowned actors still feel doubt, it’s proof that achievements alone don’t heal self-esteem. Mastering the art of self-recognition is more important than relying upon external recognition. External recognition feels good, and as a community, we definitely value it. But it can’t take the place of recognizing yourself first. Imagine what would happen if you acknowledged your wins, not just when others applauded you, but because you deeply knew, loved, and honored them yourself. Handling public scrutiny starts with self-acceptance. Hollywood stars are constantly judged—by critics, the media, and the public. But the biggest critic is often themselves. We can learn from this too - don’t be a bully to yourself—be a best friend to yourself, instead! Learning to filter negativity, both internally and externally is the key. Study your strengths. People often spend so much time studying their weaknesses that they become highly skilled at knowing what they’re bad at. They feel the feeling of being bad at things so often that it becomes a natural go-to state. Instead, study your strengths. Know them inside and out. Lean into them consistently. Become well-practiced in acknowledging, utilizing, and celebrating your strengths until you feel them steadily, confidently, and naturally. Tools: Try This... The 10,000 Times Self-Appreciation Tool Bruce Lee once said, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks one time, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” From this, we understand that repetition leads to mastery. When I heard this quote, I was immediately inspired to focus on my strengths and my greatest desires 10,000 times until I was a master at knowing and feeling my greatness. Now I'll share this tool with you. This technique is about mastering knowledge of self. Here's how it works: Grab your journal and write down the ideal feelings you want to have about yourself. Every day, set a goal for the number of positive words you write about yourself. Keep adding to your list. Expand your self-definition. In my personal practice, I wrote 100 ways that I loved feeling about myself every single day until I reached 10,000 words. Words like worthy, powerful, seen, heard, valued, appreciated, acknowledged, helpful, useful, knowledgeable, and more filled my pages. The goal is to make self-appreciation an instinct—so deeply ingrained that it becomes a natural, effortless part of your self-view. The Star Treatment: In metaphysics, a "treatment" is a set of healing words spoken to activate Divine Power. These "Healing Words" are for you Oscar Winners and all of us celebrating ourselves as well. Prayer Treatment: May you recognize the brilliance within you, beyond accolades and applause. May you know that your worth is already whole, and your success is a reflection of your inner light. May self-doubt dissolve as you stand in the certainty of who you are, beautifully and unapologetically. And may your journey continue to inspire, whether the world is watching or not. Coaching Treatment (for all) : To every nominee, winner, and performer: Your gift is real. Your work matters. And no trophy can define your worth. Stay anchored in your craft, your passion, and your growth. Let self-appreciation - not the opinions of others - be your foundation. To everyone watching: In your job, classroom or at home, gather your family, friends, or team and host your own awards night. Have each person select something they want to celebrate themselves for -and create the award. Give the award to a coworker, family member or friend to read aloud and hand to you in front of everyone. The awards can go beyond achievements - they can celebrate your character, kindness, consistency, effort, and growth. Help each other to celebrate yourselves. IMPORTANT NOTE I’m not here to judge and condemn, nor praise and celebrate every decision someone makes (celebrity or not). I’m simply here to offer a perspective of compassion for our fellow man. This seems long overdue particularly for those who serve us on screen, on stage, in the arena or in any spotlight. - California Fires - How Celebrity Responses are Lighting the Way
Special Coverage of the California Fires - Social media is buzzing with talk of celebrities and the California fires. Responses vary widely, from opinions that celebrities will be fine since they have multiple homes, or how they are so rich they should be helping more to support other who have "really" lost everything. Still we can also find an outpouring of compassion for all affected, celebrity or not. Today we’ll acknowledge both those who are writhing in the pain of this disaster and those who are ready to rely on gratitude for what still remains beyond the ashes. We’ll highlight those who have contributed financially, like Beyoncé, and those who have gotten their feet on the ground to help, like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. There is much ground to cover, tons of opinions, drama, and judgements, but most importantly much to learn. Let’s dive in. Hidden Lessons from California Fires: How Some Celebrities Are Lighting the Way for Us... Gratitude Amid Devastation : Celebs like Joshua Jackson and Paris Hilton were able to tap into gratitude as their coping tool right away. Joshua expressing his gratitude that his family was safe after losing his childhood home and Paris sharing her thankfulness for the safety of loved ones despite the loss of her property as well. It doesn't mean they aren't hurting, but they are grabbing on to gratitude as a life-preserver in these seemingly impossible times. Lesson: Gratitude works! It's the ultimate perspective shifter - and peace giver. Their efforts remind us of the power of gratitude, even in unimaginable circumstances. Tools: Search for and express any gratitude you can find mentally, verbally or in writing. This can help us to find light in the darkness. Write at least three things you are grateful for each day (and each time negative thoughts loom over you) - and visualize many more grateful moments to come in the future. Releasing Negativity for Healing : Billy Crystal and Mandy Moore expressed their devastation over losing homes filled with memories. They remind us that it’s vital to express our pain while leaving room for future healing. Lesson: Expressing pain isn't a bad thing. It can be a major part of the healing process. We simply need to be careful not to get stuck in the pain process - accidentally writing it indefinitely into our future, in debilitating ways. Tools: While expressing your honest emotions is essential, be mindful with the words you choose to avoid programming never-ending pain in your future. You are built to heal! Phrases like “I’ll never recover” or “Life will never be as good as it was” can create mental roadblocks in the years ahead. Instead, focus on truthful present-tense expressions like “I feel devastated” or “This is incredibly painful right now.” When the time comes to look forward, leave room for healing by speaking words like, “I will move through this, somehow” or “Healing is possible for me.” These shifts in language can subtly guide your mind toward greater resilience and true healing when you're ready. Do Something - Don't Give in to Helplessness : Beyoncé’s $2.5 million donation to fire relief and Meghan and Harry’s hands-on volunteer work distributing supplies show that even against a raging fire that we cannot control, we still have power to help. Don't be intimidated by grand gestures. Do what you can! Even if you can't go to California or donate millions or even hundreds of dollars, you can find what's within your own power to give. Even this special blog post, for example, is dedicated to those who need emotional support and coaching tips right now. It is my way to give. Lesson: When you feel powerless, find a way to take action on your own terms—whether it’s your time, resources, or a kind word. The key is to act within your power and not give in to powerlessness. Tools: Ask yourself better questions. Not, "Why is this happening?" "Why did that person lose this or do that?" Instead ask yourself, "What am I able to do to help, even if it’s something small?" The Star Treatment: In metaphysics, a "treatment" is a set of healing words spoken to activate Divine Power. These "Healing Words" are for you Golden Globe Celebs. Prayer Treatment: "May those affected by the fires find comfort and renewal in their time of need. May their pain be soothed and their hearts lifted as they navigate loss and rebuilding. For those who have acted with compassion, may they inspire others to extend kindness as well. And may all find a path to gratitude and peace, in their own time, in their own way. Out of the ashes we ALWAYS rise." Coaching Treatment: To all affected: This type of pain doesn’t just live in the mind—it gets trapped in the body, where it can create long-term stress and anxiety. Each time you journal, cry, scream, or speak about the tragedy, imagine the pain physically leaving your body—through your pen, your breath, your scream, or your tears. Picture your brain and heart letting go of the emotional weight, releasing it from the body and making space for future healing. And if you journal to release the pain - remember to use the release and refill process. First you express the pain, but then you deliberately fill the gap left from releasing that pain. Fill it with truths & blessings that still remain, even in tragedy. This isn’t forced optimism; it’s about separating the pain from what’s still good. Try this journal to help. These small but intentional acts help prevent emotions from settling in the body as permanent negative subconscious programming. Give yourself the gift of releasing the pain to leave space for a full emotional and physical recovery. - How Beyoncé, The Grammys, & Black History Month are Lighting the Way for Us
Beyoncé - A Win for the Future of Black History Black history is really about the future! It's a continuous journey forward, and Beyoncé’s latest achievement is evidence of this momentum. At the 2025 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé Knowles won Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter , marking her first ever win in this category. This milestone makes her one of only four Black women to receive this honor in the award’s 66-year history. Beyoncé now joins Natalie Cole (1992), Whitney Houston (1994), and Lauryn Hill (1999) as the only Black women to have won Album of the Year. Her win represents the truly limitless potential for the fair and equal recognition of all people, particularly black people in the United States of America. On the same night, Beyoncé also became the first Black woman ever to win Best Country Album , a recognition that highlights the evolving nature of country music. While responses to her victory have been both positive and negative, the truth remains that country music itself is deeply connected to Black musical traditions. This win reaffirms the influence of Black spirituals, blues, gospel, and the banjo’s African origins—threads woven into the very fabric of country music long before it was given a name. Beyond Beyoncé's buzzworthy wins, this year’s Grammy Awards saw several Black artists also making history. Artists like, Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown, Tems, and Doechii all took home awards, further solidifying the impact of Black artistry & impact across genres. Their victories are a reminder that Black excellence continues to thrive in every space, including music and beyond. Hidden Lessons: How Beyoncé, The Grammys, & Black History Month are Lighting the Way for Us Black History is about the Future Beyoncé’s journey shows us that history is still being written. Awakening the past and stepping into unchartered territory, each step forward adds to Black Culture's Rich and deserving History. This win now marks the first ever Best Country Album Grammy win for a Black Woman - and also makes Beyonce only the fourth Black woman to have won Album of the Year since the Grammy Awards began in 1959. That's about 6% of all winners in almost 70 years! Lesson: Moments like this remind us that Black history is not just about looking back—it’s about shaping what’s next. Beyoncé’s presence in country music not only honors the past but also expands possibilities for the future. Tools: Unlock the power of the imagination. When you unlock your imagination, you allow yourself to envision a future that you've never experienced before. That limitless ability to dream, ultimately programs our brain, emotions and actions to take forward movement toward the unknown. Always remember to keep your imagination wide open to endless possibilities. Try it now: imagine your future self, looking back to you now. What contributions would you love to see that you've made to this world today? (no matter how out-of-this-world it may seem). Breaking Free from Assigned Stereotypes Another history-making, Grammy Award Winner, Doechii delivered a powerful statement that will echo throughout the fabric of Black History: “there is some black girl out there, so many black women out there that are watching me right now, and I want to tell you, you can do it. Anything is possible... don't allow anyone to project any stereotypes on you, that tell you that you can't be here or that you're too dark or you're not smart enough. You are exactly who you need to be to be right where you are..” Lesson: Her words resonate beyond music. Society often assigns labels and limitations to people, dictating where they do or don’t belong. But like Beyoncé, Doechii, and every Black artist rewriting history, we are not bound by expectations set by others. Tools: Affirm these reminders to yourself every day: You do not have to fit into a single category to be successful. You are not limited by outdated definitions of what is or isn’t for you. Your path is yours alone, and you have every right to walk it unapologetically. Whatever label has been placed upon you—whether in career, creativity, or life—release it. Step beyond the expectation of others and into your own Divine expansion. We don't "need" anyone to assign us a special month Like I mentioned in this Black History Month Instagram Post , we can walk into the vision that our Black Leaders and non-black Allies held in their hearts for us... all day, every day, any time and every time we want!! WE ARE THE FUTURE PEOPLE THEY FOUGHT FOR. EVERY NEW DAY IS THE "ONE DAY" THAT THEY DREAMT OF FOR US! ...NOT JUST A MONTH, BUT AN ENTIRE FUTURE OF LOVE, GROWTH, LIMITLESSNESS, AND DIVINE CONNECTION - MIND, BODY & SOUL!! 💕 The Star Treatment: In metaphysics, a "treatment" is a set of healing words spoken to activate Divine Power. These "Healing Words" are for you Beyonc é . May all Grammy winners, the Black Community, and everyone in the world benefit. Prayer Treatment: "To Beyoncé and all winners, past, present, and future, may you continue to create from a place of truth and inspiration. May every note you sing and every story you tell uplift and empower. May your journey reflects what it means to follow Divine guidance boldly, without hesitation, without exception. Keep trusting your vision. Keep expanding into new territories. You are creating a legacy that will inspire beyond what can be measured today. May the vision placed in your heart be fully realized, and may your presence continue to open doors for generations to come. You are the future of Black History." Thank you to Beyoncé, The Grammys, & Black History Month as a whole. Coaching Treatment: To Beyoncé: Let this win be your encouragement to keep moving forward. When new doors open, step through them with confidence. When others question your "genre" remember that your purpose is not for others to define. You are here to create, uplift, and expand with Divine graces - you're limitless. Here's a coaching treatment you can try IF the negativity of the world ever starts to get to in your head. Imagine receiving a letter from The Divine—one that speaks with the mightiness of God ..... limitlessly lifting you to the full image and likeness of the unlimited source of all. It might read something like this: "My beloved, I see the path you are walking. I placed a vision inside of you that continues to grow and evolve in ways that others simply cannot understand - because the journey is not for them. Do not wait on or rely on their understanding. You already have mine! Keep going. When you step into places where you weren’t expected, know that I have placed your feet there and you are exactly where you were meant to be. The calling I placed on your life is not up for debate by any man! Trust in me. Walk boldly with me coursing through you and all around you. Let your wins be a testament to your unwavering faith in Me. Love God/Universe/Source/Divine. This was just a sample. Now, it's your turn. Take a moment to write your own Letter from the Divine. Go big, don't hold back - God wouldn't!! Envision your highest self receiving these words, knowing that they are rooted in truth and purpose. Write your own "letter from Divine." Write this letter to include this epic Grammy win and it's implications for the "Future of Black History" - and know that although it is a make-believe letter - the words are based in Divine Truth of what you came here to do. IMPORTANT NOTE I’m not here to judge and condemn, nor praise and celebrate every decision someone makes (celebrity or not). I’m simply here to offer a perspective of compassion for our fellow man. - How Golden Globes 2025 Stars are Lighting the Way
Hidden Lessons in Connection, Courage, and Compassion from Hollywood's Big Night. The Golden Globes 2025 delivered its usual mix of glamour, triumph, and headline-making moments. From heartfelt acceptance speeches to playful dramas that made waves on social media, the night offered more than just entertainment. It was a mirror reflecting the human experience—our desire for connection, recognition, and understanding. In this post, we’ll explore how the Golden Globes gave us lessons about navigating misunderstandings, embracing our emotions, and staying aligned with our highest selves, even under the bright lights of pressure and public scrutiny. Hidden Lessons from Celebrity Drama: How the Golden Globes 2025 is Lighting the Way for Us... The Golden Globes wasn't just a showcase of talent—it was a masterclass in human behavior. Let’s uncover the hidden lessons: The Power of Perspective (Demi Moore & Kylie Jenner 'Snub') A brief clip of Demi Moore seemingly ignoring Kylie Jenner sparked online debates, with some claiming it was a snub. But Demi's daughter later clarified it was unintentional. No matter you believe it was , the truth is that misunderstandings happen, and they can escalate even more-so when we rush to judgement. Lesson: Before jumping to conclusions, pause and seek clarity. It's possible that miscommunication often stem from different perspectives, not ill intentions. Put yourself in the shoes of all the head-spinning excitement and the collection of powerful energies in one room - at this massive, iconic event. You never know how you may come across in that same situation, even if you have the best of intentions. Tool: As viewers we can certainly be honest about what we see, but there is an added power in adding compassion to our perspective, because when we give grace, we receive it. Try an approach I call being fair with your what-ifs. So yes, ask yourself, "What if it was a snub?" But don't stop there. Be fair and ask yourself, "What-if it wasn't?" This keeps the door of compassion open in your own heart, and towards others. Finding Playfulness in Frustration (Sofía Vergara’s Reaction) Sofía Vergara's humorous reaction to losing an award to Jodie Foster became a viral moment. While some criticized her, many recognized it as a playful expression of disappointment. Lesson: We don't have to bottle our emotions up or express them in an angry way. We can express ourselves more creatively, including the use of humor. Whether the "outburst" was appropriate or not is up to Jodi Foster to decide for herself. As for the rest of us, let's be reminded that light humor can help us process big emotions while maintain kindness and good will to others. Tool: If we find ourselves in these situations, a simple affirmation can go a long way. We can remind ourselves that the wonderful feeling of victory deserves to be shared with all - and while it is another person's time to shine, our time will come again soon - if we don't give up on ourselves. When you bask in the energy of celebrating others, you set in motion energies to come back in the form of celebrations for you. Your time will come, lets share the love. Courage Under Fire (Timothée Chalamet & Nikki Glaser's Monologue) Nikki Glaser’s jokes about Timothée Chalamet, delivered in front of his girlfriend Kylie Jenner, highlighted the pressure celebrities endure to maintain composure in vulnerable moments - even during the traditional act of "roasting." Timothée's playful response (as well as Kylie's) was a testament to wisdom in understanding the nature of these types of interactions. Lesson: Understand your environment and know when not to take things too seriously. Tool: Practice self-love meditation techniques where you celebrate yourself, inside and out, mind and body, so much that you become confident and absolutely certain of who you are. That way when moments like these arise, you can hear these jokes (or even negative opinions of others) through an armor of self-love (rather than a short fuse of insecurity). This way you remain unphased and unshaken by the words that don't match your own inner certainty of who you are. The Star Treatment: In metaphysics, a "treatment" is a set of healing words spoken to activate Divine Power. These "Healing Words" are for you Golden Globe Celebs. Prayer Treatment: "May all who step into the spotlight find courage, clarity, and compassion as they navigate the joys and challenges of their unique journeys. May they inspire us to seek alignment with our own higher selves." Coaching Treatment: To all the stars at the Golden Globes: For Demi Moore & Kylie Jenner : The key word is awareness . Even in the excitement of such a grand event, we have a responsibility to bring our best selves forward. As overwhelming as it may be deciding to attend an even of this magnitude comes with the hugs, kisses, hi's and handshakes of polite greeting as we know it. Pay closer attention to your space and be intentional about greeting everyone. And on the flipside, be compassionate about 'blinding overwhelm' from others. The brain deletes, distorts and generalizes a great deal of the information that comes in. Under certain pressures, someone simply may not process something (or someone) that is staring them right in the face. Account for that possibility as we navigate a life filled with grace and compassion for all. For Sofía Vergara : Celebrate the playful energy you bring because humor is one of your (many) superpowers. Although, there is a time and a place for everything - and everyone is different in how they receive a humorous approach. Always lead with love and consideration in your heart - channeling it toward lifting yourself and others, even in moments of difficulty. For Timothée Chalamet : Your relaxed and humble response to being roasted is an example of how strength lies in grace. Many before you have sat in that seat and many will after - each having their own response. Keep grounding yourself in the truth of who you are, regardless of external opinions - jokes or otherwise. - How SIMONE BILES is Lighting the Way
Simone Biles - Pausing with Power I’m excited to kick off my blog, Lighting the Way: Why Dim the Stars That Guide Us , by featuring my first celebrity: my namesake, Simone Biles. Her story transcends athletic achievement, offering profound lessons about the vital connection between mental health and physical performance. As a self-esteem expert who has worked with athletes, I am deeply inspired by Simone’s courage and self-awareness, which she exemplified on the world stage during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Simone Biles made headlines for stepping back from competition—a decision that surprised many. But what the world witnessed was a powerful reminder that pushing through isn’t always the answer. For high-performance athletes, the connection between the mental and physical state is undeniable. Simone knew that sometimes simply "pushing through" is not only unwise but also ineffective. Our mindset directly affects our ability to perform, and ignoring this truth can lead to breakdowns that are far more costly than stepping back. What makes Simone’s journey even more remarkable is how her choice to prioritize her mental wellness in 2020 paved the way for a truly inspiring comeback. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Simone returned stronger than ever, winning three gold medals (team all-around, individual all-around, and vault) and one silver (floor exercise). Her story proves that taking time to prioritize well-being isn’t just courageous—it’s the foundation for sustained greatness. Hidden Lessons from Celebrity Drama: How Simone Biles is Lighting the Way for Us... Tuning Into Your Heart's Wisdom: Just as Simone Biles demonstrated, aligning with your heart’s wisdom is essential. Like HeartMath Institute and Dr. Joe Dispenza indicate, this alignment comes from heart-centeredness, gratitude, and paced breathing. You may not hear a literal voice, but if you slow down—like Simone did—you’ll notice those subtle signals from the Divine that guide you in the direction of your greatest good. This is one of the most powerful manifestation techniques you can use. Listening to the Inner Voice of Love, Not Fear: There’s a clear distinction between the voice of stress and fear and the voice of a relaxed, aligned heart. Simone Biles reminded us that the best decisions come from a place of love—for yourself and your well-being. This voice is aligned with Infinite Wisdom and guides you toward love for all, including your beautiful self. It’s the kind of self-esteem that isn’t dictated by performance or external accolades but by an inner knowing of your worth. Slowing Down and Tuning In to Manifest More: By stepping back, Simone Biles showed us that sometimes the fastest way forward is to pause. When you slow down, listen to your heart, and practice self-compassion techniques, you position yourself for even greater success in the long run. Life is a journey, and your longevity depends on finding balance. This is how you ensure that your mental wellness and physical health remain in harmony. The Star Treatment: In metaphysics, a "treatment" is a set of healing words spoken to activate Divine Power. These "Healing Words" are for you, Simone. Prayer Treatment: Simone, may your choice to honor yourself by stepping back during the Olympics continue to bless you as a profound act of self-love and Divine wisdom—may that inspire us all in the deepest way. You’ve shown the world that true greatness comes not just from pushing through but from knowing when to pause and listen to your heart—may you stand confidently in that always! Coaching Treatment: Simone, continue deepening this connection to your inner guidance. Sometimes we find it easy to follow our heart (sometimes, it's hard but necessary)—and other times, in other areas of our lives, we miss the messages from our heart altogether. Be sure to take the strength you showed in 2020 and generalize it into all areas of your life. Remind yourself that you have the Divine Power (deep inside) to know exactly when to keep pushing and when it's time to step back. This is a gift you can use always. Affirm yourself as the shining star we call Simone Biles, inspiring us all with your courage and grace. IMPORTANT NOTE I’m not here to judge and condemn, nor praise and celebrate every decision someone makes (celebrity or not). I’m simply here to offer a perspective of compassion for our fellow man. - Lighting the Way: Why Dim the Stars That Guide Us? Hidden Lessons from Celebrity Drama
Being in the public eye isn’t just about fame— it's about stepping into a dream so big that everyone can see it!! IT'S THE ART OF PLUCKING INVISIBLE, UNSEEN DREAMS FROM DEEP WITHIN THE HEART AND MIND - AND MANIFESTING THEM INTO REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES WE ALL CAN SEE! Celebrities are the ultimate expression of big dreamers. They represent the very essence of what we all want: to manifest extraordinary lives from the limitless potential of the Universe. They’re living proof of what can happen when we align with our gifts and follow our purpose, not just for ourselves, but to contribute to the world in our own unique ways. It requires courage, faith, and alignment with something great within. When I think of celebrities, I don’t just see rich, famous people. I see human beings dancing with the limitless, Infinite Intelligence that creates worlds. People tapping into a level of faith that connects them to magnificent outcomes. Maybe they don't even know that they are doing it—or how, but this deeper connection is evident in their achievements. I actually know a bit about what it's like to step into the limelight and share a gift with the world. I manifested my dream of being as a professional runway and print model for some years - and I also got to be an extra on multiple TV/movie projects. More recently, I actually aligned with an opportunity to work as associate producer with a powerful speaking role in a proof of concept film called Pretty Big Girl! Both me and the film are on IMDb y'all—winning awards and everything! Then, my dream expanded, so although I didn’t reach the highest echelons of fame in modeling - I continued to manifest the desires of my heart as they evolved - making headlines for the work I do now - and in a limitless Universe, your dreams have no ceiling! So, I understand tapping into your inner potential to bring your dream to the world! Not only back when I was modeling and acting, but today as The Self Esteem Doctor. I am following my heart and taking the stage in a totally different way to teach the unusual tools that free people from limited thinking! I've been at it for almost 2 decades now, and I am continuously driven by the call of the Divine within! ...And I recognize it in every soon-to-be celebrity, athlete, or performer I’ve coached over the years. And in every superstar we'll talk about in this blog. Understanding the Celebrity Journey: A Call for Compassion We share limitless visions in our conversations, our "what ifs," and our imaginings. Yet, it often proves to be "all talk" as only a few of us take that extra step—walking in the dream, living it, and bringing it from unseen to seen. I often say, "We dream together, but achieve apart." I've observed that while many people envision success, only some take the necessary steps to manifest it. And when they do achieve unusually great things, they are often met with suspicion and rumors—people searching for some clandestine explanation for their success, simply because they don’t understand the fullness of human potential. This is especially true for celebrities. People often view them through a lens of disbelief. How did they get there? What did they do to deserve this level of success? The answer lies in their alignment—the ability to tap into a Divine power that we all have access to, but not everyone chooses to (or knows how to) embrace. They manifest their dreams because they are aligned with their gifts and purpose. They hear the call from their heart and follow with reckless abandon! As you'll learn in my work -it's about the inner vision, focus, and powerful emotion calling them forward. First, as they dream of greatness, some onlookers will dream with them, while others criticize their irresponsible or unrealistic goals. Then when they achieve, those who once believed, often begin to express worry and issue warnings, while those who remain, simply cannot understand or accept that real success was achieved - and so they create stories to explain their victory. Why? Because they don't understand the full capacity we have to achieve limitlessly. So instead of celebrating and being inspired, we gossip and spread rumors and negativity about our fellow human beings. Instead of offering grace and compassion, people tend to distance themselves from those who achieve greatness. But celebrities, like all of us, are human. They are deserving of more than constant judgment - they are worthy of compassion, like the rest of us. And when we look closely enough, we'll find the hidden lessons in celebrity drama! We All Have the Power to Shine We all have access to the same Divine potential. From fields like metaphysics, neuro linguistic programming, and quantum physics, for example, we learn that there is so much science behind our thoughts, beliefs, words, energy, emotions, and actions. In fact, it's all echoed in psychology, spirituality, and in religion as well. Celebrities are simply those who have tapped into that power and used it to shine brightly, becoming real-life stars illuminating the way right here with us on earth. They’ve aligned with their higher selves- their unique gifts- and have manifested a life that reflects the fullness of human potential. (Even if they're not sure how they did it!) A Shared Dream, A Separate Journey When we observe celebrities, we’re witnessing what happens when people fully align with their divine power. They shine like stars, shedding light on what’s truly possible when we believe in the limitless. Celebrities are not separate from us—they are just the ones who took that extra step, who stayed focused and committed to their dreams - both mentally and emotionally. In the end, we all have that exact same potential - to achieve whatever calls each of us - not necessarily, "fame" - but definitely our purpose! We all have the power to become stars in our own right, manifesting our own dreams and living deliberately in our purpose. But only some of us choose to fully embrace that power. The ones who do - They achieve. And in that achievement, they often stand apart from the rest of the world. But they are not apart in their essence. They are simply reminders of what’s possible for all of us. What You Can Look Forward To In the coming blog posts, I’ll dive into my perspective of the stories behind the stars—celebrities who have aligned with their purpose and faced challenges often without our compassion or grace. We’ll talk about stars like Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who has faced criticism over her appearance and stage presence despite being just 12 years old. Simone Biles, who, despite becoming the most decorated gymnast in history, has faced backlash for prioritizing her mental health over competing at the Olympics. Taylor Swift, constantly under the microscope, is navigating public opinions about her relationships and the power dynamics of her mega-successful career. These individuals - and more - have faced immense challenges yet remain aligned with their gifts, allowing them to rise above the noise and continue to shine (as far as we can see). In this blog, I’ll be sharing stories like these and many more—from top-tier celebrities to lesser-known but equally brilliant stars. We’ll talk about the human potential, the metaphysical connections, and how self-esteem, abundance, and alignment play a critical role in achieving greatness. My goal is to create a space where we stop gossiping and spewing negativity outward, and start supporting and feeling inspired inwardly. While reading, you'll pick up tools you can use for your own life to help you shine in your own personal stardom too - you deserve that! This blog is about much more than fame—it’s about understanding the fullness of human potential and how we can all tap into it. It’s 100% NOT about idolizing celebrities!! It's 100% NOT about treating them like they are infallible creatures, more perfect than anyone else. And it's 100% NOT about defending or justifying bad behavior!! (Read that again) What this blog is about—is seeing our fellow human beings as human beings and taking a perspective that allows others to be, grow, and achieve in limitlessly Divine ways. It's about all of us learning to live with greater compassion for each other - AND OURSELVES - with far less judgment. And most of all, we are here to learn from each other just how limitless we really are in this world. Wait til you find out, what you thought was the ceiling, will soon become your floor.
