Various studies and respected professionals have highlighted the connection between social media and self esteem. From the pressure to portray a perfect life and false sense of friendships to the quest for validation through 'likes' and the painfully common instances of rejection and aggression online, social media can a be an unhealthy place for our kids to determine their worth.
That is why Dr. Tenille (LCSW, Social media and online addictions expert) and Dr. Simone (The Self Esteem Doctor, Personal coach and inspirational speaker) are joining forces to present these 3 powerful classes for pre-teens.
We highly recommend that parents attend this workshop with their kids. Not only will you have a chance to learn with your children, but you will have the tools to support them as they enter (or dive deeper) into the high pressure world of social media.
Please select one (1), two (2) or all (3) classes for you and your pre-teen(s).
Tickets are only $30 per person for each workshop.
It is our experience that older adolescents will require a more in-depth and mature approach to social media, so although we are happy to welcome them here, we invite you to contact us to express your interest for our older teen program that is coming soon.
